2 PM at Collins

What is the Husky Hike?

The Husky Hike is Collins Elementary’s largest annual PTO fundraiser and a fun school-wide tradition! Students participate in a neighborhood walk, along with spirit days, classroom challenges, an assembly, and other activities leading up to the event.

Funds raised through the Husky Hike support programs and experiences throughout the school year, including teacher start-up funds, classroom supplies, field trips, 4th Grade Zoo School, classroom celebrations, community events, the Book Vending Machine, and more.

Families are invited to join the walk, which ends back at Collins with snacks and time to celebrate together.

Ways to give:

Each student is sent home with a fundraising envelope. The goal is 100% participation—every student returning their envelope, regardless of donation amount.

Packets will be sent home on October 12 and are due back on October 22. Donations can be made via cash, check made out to Collins Elementary PTO, or Venmo @CollinsElementary-PTO.

Change Wars and Spirit Sales

Other fundraising opportunities happen during change wars and spirit sales. Change wars: bring extra change and cash to school to help your class win a prize!

Spirit sales are cash-only Husky gear shops on Tuesday, October 20 and Wednesday, October 21 at school. Items range for $1-6 each.
