Who is the Collins PTO? Everyone! 🐾

The Collins PTO is a parent-led volunteer group that helps make our school community even better by supporting students, teachers, staff, and families. We coordinate volunteers, fund programs and experiences that aren’t covered by the school budget, and help bring our Collins community together.

Throughout the year, PTO funds and supports things like teacher start-up funds, classroom and specials resources, field trips, recess enhancements, PBIS, the media center, conference dinners, staff appreciation, community events, and more.

Husky Hike

Friday, October 23, 2026

Husky Hike is Collins' largest fundraiser, supporting student, staff & family educational and community enrichment throughout the year. With the funds we raise, the PTO can fund teacher start-up, classroom supplies, field trips, 4th grade zoo school, classroom celebrations, community events (including bingo & books, arts night, and family fun night), fill our Book Vending Machine, and so much more!

The Husky Hike fun kicks off with an assembly, themed spirit days, and classroom change wars! On October 23rd, we invite you to join the walk with your students (more information will come). The hike goes through the Greenbrier neighborhood led by a fire truck and supervised by our school resource officer. The walk will end on the playground with a snack and social time. The suggested goal is for each student to raise $100 for the walk!

Fundraising packets will be sent home on October 12th.
