Volunteer Program
Welcome. Think about how happy you are when you are doing what you love. Now imagine sharing that passion with others. What better feeling is there? School volunteers find deep satisfaction in their work with students, teachers and school staff.
Whether you are a student seeking community service opportunities, a parent or grandparent seeking to become more involved in the education of your children or grandchildren, a retired or senior citizen seeking an outlet for your talents, experiences and skills, or a corporation wishing to give your employees greater opportunity to be involved in their community –
the Volunteer Service Program at Collins Elementary has the answer to your needs. School Board Policy requires all persons interested in volunteering at Broward County Public Schools must first complete the appropriate volunteer application.
Ms. Amalia Sala, our volunteer coordinator, will be available to help guide you through the volunteer application process at the times below:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
